What are Your Kids doing Online?


Do you want to know what your kids are doing online?

A Cyber Safety Session for Parents will be held at the Bannockburn Cultural Centre at 27 High Street from 7pm - 8.30pm on Tuesday 22nd October 2013.

Presenters will be Tracey Porter and Robbie Noggler. Tracey has extensive investigative experience into cyber crime and 23 years involvement with law enforcement. Robbie is a Leading Senior Constable with the Victoria Police and is a Youth Resource Officer in the Western Region.

They will discuss
• Bullying, Sexting and the law
• How to protect against cyber-crimes
• Popular sites for youth - What are they?
       Social networking - Facebook, Games - Moshi Monsters, World of Warcraft, Apps - Sapchat.
• Self respect and empowerment
• Potential dangers and safety tips  - how to assist the children in your care to stay safe online.
