Walking 100 Kilometres in a Day!

Robyn Little, Fiona Rogers, Matthew Buckley (local Banno Paramedic) and Eichelle Carey Ashley from “Fit For Life with Chelle” are Team “The Footsore 4” taking on this year’s Melbourne Oxfam Trailwalker in an effort to raise funds for those suffering poverty here in Australia and overseas.

Last year was our first year as a team and we walked as ‘Team Tenderfoot’ coming in 177th place overall in 26 hrs: 8 mins. There were 417 teams that completed (many didn’t) last year’s event in times varying from 10 hrs: 32 mins to 41 hrs: 58 mins.

About Trailwalker Melbourne
Oxfam Trailwalker is a challenging event that also changes lives, including yours. Oxfam Trailwalker Melbourne, being held 8–10 April 2016, will see teams walk through Warburton, the Dandenong Ranges and Melbourne’s outer suburbs.

Challenge poverty
Oxfam Trailwalker is not just a tough physical and mental challenge — it’s also a rewarding fundraising challenge. With every step they take, teams raise money to help fight poverty around the world. Show your support to a team or make a general donation now.

About Oxfam
Oxfam Australia works with local communities to help them create their own sustainable solutions to poverty. Together, we are promoting education, ensuring access to clean water, teaching skills to grow food and advocating for their basic rights. By supporting Oxfam Trailwalker, you are making a significant difference to people living in poverty around the world.

Please donate and cheer us on
So if you see us shaking a tin, running a raffle, doing a sausage sizzle at the local hardware store please donate what you can – every bit counts and can make a difference to someone in need. Or you can donate directly on the team site at

And if you see us out walking in strange places (like Perdrisit Rd) at strange times of the day and night, Give us a cheer.

Thanks in advance for any help you can give us,

Fiona, Robyn, Matt and Chelle
