Shelford Primary School

Anzac Ceremonies
During the month the children have taken part in a number of ANZAC Day commemorations.  I have been extremely proud of the way in which all children have represented our school both in public, and at school when our visitors from Geelong Legacy attended our ANZAC Day service.

The children were involved with ceremonies at Bannockburn, Shelford Memorial, and at our school.  Many thanks to Morgana, Chris and Novella for representing the school at the Shelford community service.

Shelford Biggest Morning Tea
Our students recently took part in the Biggest Morning Tea event at the Shelford Hall.

The Biggest Morning Tea is a fund raiser for the Cancer Council, which helps people affected by cancer.  The event at Shelford was attended by a mix of locals both young and old.

The children took part in games and puzzles, as well as having a chance to interact with the other participants.  The children took some morning tea of their own to share with the other guests, and enjoyed the chance to spend time with community members.
