Volunteer of the Year Awards 2016

The aim of these awards is to recognise some of the many volunteers who serve in a wide range of community organisations, charities or clubs in areas such as community, arts, youthwork, healthcare, environmental, sport, emergency services, or other.

The nominee must:
•  Be a volunteer who is not paid for completing their role or duties
•  Perform their volunteer work within the boundaries of the City of Greater Geelong, Surf Coast Shire, Golden Plains Shire or the Borough of Queenscliffe. 

Prizes  And  Award  Ceremony
A minimum of five awards of $1,000 each will be made of which $750 will be donated to the winner’s nominated not-for-profit organisation. 

The remaining $250 and a commemorative plaque will be presented to each winner. 

Award nominees and their nominators will be invited to attend the Award presentation evening in August. 

Lodging The Nomination Form
Hardcopy or electronic nominations are accepted.
Completed Nomination Forms are to be lodged by Friday 1st July 2016 and sent to:
