Treehome Nursery is changing hands

by Lina Murphy
After thirty one years of owning and running Treehome Nursery at Teesdale, we (Steve & Lina Murphy) feel that the time has come to hand over to the next generation.

We have enjoyed meeting customers and getting involved in their revegetation projects. We particularly valued making many friends through our business and exploring the beautiful Golden Plains Shire on our numerous expeditions to collect seed.

We would like to thank you our customers for your support, friendship and loyalty over the last thirty one years. Playing a small part in helping you realize your visions for your properties has been a pleasure and a privilege.

We would like to introduce Kate Constance and her family who care about restoring the natural environment as much as we do.  Kate has a Bachelor of Environmental Science, Diploma of Conservation and Land Management and a Diploma of Sustainability. She has spent the past eight years working in the environment industry for local government, Landcare and private industry on community and revegetation projects. She is passionate and knowledgeable about the local flora and is looking forward to assisting the community with their revegetation and planting projects.

Treehome Nursery will continue to supply quality indigenous and native plants to Landcare groups, farmers, small and large acreage properties and for the home garden.  Please contact Kate on 5281 5254 or treehomenursery@bigpond.com for more information.

We will be supporting Kate for the next 12 months and Steve will be continuing to work as a consultant on Landcare matters. He can be contacted on 0428 584 455.
