Meredith’s Biggest Morning Tea 2016

This year’s event was held on Tuesday May 24th at St. Joseph’s Hall in Meredith. Over 50 ladies, gents and children packed into the cosy St. Joseph’s hall to partake of high tea complete with scones and jam and cream, delicious sandwiches, sausage rolls and amazing home made cakes and slices.

As we do every year we pause to offer a minute’s silence and prayers for all our loved ones who have battled the scourge of cancer and to also remember and pray for all those in our families and community who are struggling at the moment

Lots of fun, raffles, competitions, silent auctions and displays and sales of tea related items followed with the fantastic result of raising almost $2000 to help the Cancer Council fund world class cancer research, prevention programs like SunSmart and Quit, and support services for cancer patients and their families.
