Bannockburn Mens' Shed

Shed Building
Several problems were identified relating to the proposed siting of our new shed on the Victor St site which had the potential of delaying the construction for some considerable time.

Realising this, the Shire has offered us an alternative site adjacent to the Family Services Centre in Victoria Park which would appear to be a better location.

In collaboration with GPS officers, we are currently evaluating available services and seeking new estimates on the shed building. We hope to have a start in coming months or early 2017.

Raffle.
We are again selling tickets for our Christmas raffle.  $1 each or 6 for $5.  1st prize $250 Woolworths gift card, 2nd prize $100 Woolworths gift card and 3rd prize $50 Woolworths gift card. Look out for us outside Woolworths in November and at our sausage sizzles outside King Broccoli on the 8th October and 12th November. Prizes drawn at the end of December - so winners will have funds available for presents.

We are considering other ways of raising funds to help build the shed, so suggestions are welcome - if you can assist we would like to hear from you – donations are always welcome.
