Interested In Establishing Neighbourhood Watch in Bannockburn & Surrounding Townships?

A meeting  to gauge the amount of local interest  in establishing  a local Neighbourhood Watch program is being held at the

Bannockburn Community Cultural  Centre

Tuesday  Evening - 13th June

Commencing at 7.30pm – Main Hall.

Mr Geoff Kloot the acting CEO of NHW will be attending the evening  conducting a presentation, outline applicable requirements to set up a local group and to answer any questions from local residents.

The establishment of a local NHW will allow local residents to support and assist our local police to continue to keep our towns safe and secure. It also allows neighbours  the opportunity to look out for each other, keep an eye on surrounding homes and each others welfare.

What is Neighbourhood Watch?
Neighbourhood Watch (NHW) is a community based crime prevention program. It aims to reduce the incidence of preventable crime and provide a safer community.

Why Neighbourhood Watch?
Neighbourhood Watch is a proven Police and community partnership against crime. The program was introduced in Victoria in 1983 to assist the Victoria Police to effectively reduce the crime rate.
