The Worlds Greatest Shave ... Bannockburn Style
In 2011, The World’s Greatest Shave was officially held over the dates 17th – 19th of March. Many people participated in this event.
This event is run by the Leukemia Foundation, where proceeds go to helping those with cancer and their family. Personally, I was able to raise $900 for this charity.
Early on Sunday the 20th March, a fellow CFA volunteer shaved off my hair at the Bannockburn Fire Brigade.
A big thank-you to the Bannockburn Fire Brigade for hosting the venue, supplying materials for a bbq sizzle, and to the members of the CFA who generously donated.
And a big thank-you to all those who sponsored me. Without you I would not have been able to raise the money that I did.
